Welcome to Warriors, Wizards vs Aliens

Welcome to Warriors, Wizards vs Aliens, a new tabletop role playing game where thrilling classical fantasy collides with dangerous other-worldly science-fiction.  Players will be immersed in a world teeming with unique and far-ranging possibilities, in a game where tactical prowess, teamwork, and swift combat resolution take center stage!  Led by the ubiquitous role of the Game Master, these players will be guided through a universe full of challenges and excitement, and where they will need to respond to situations that the Game Master presents with them.

This game operates on a small scale, where aspirational fantasy and grounded reality combine to create many obstacles and challenges for players.  The setup of yielding modest damage output from weapons, for example, is part of a design that encourages players to think strategically and collaborate effectively during combat encounters. Expecting to deliver massive damage with a single hit won’t be the norm here. Instead, players will find that success lies in their ability to devise clever plans and work together as a cohesive team.

In this game, mechanically the concept of small numbers holds a crucial role, as they can bring both advantages and disadvantages to the gameplay. While the numerical difference might seem inconsequential, the impact is more significant than meets the eye. Even a mere addition or subtraction of one point can alter the results by a substantial percentage.

While the numbers are small, the game allows great freedom with a system that does not put limitations around its characters by incorporating either a Class or Level structure. Players have the freedom to create unique and personalized characters based on their playstyle preferences. They can mix and match various skills, equipment, and spells without being limited by predefined class roles or level restrictions.

In Warriors, Wizards vs Aliens, the players’ characters are not invincible superheroes. They will sustain injuries and face the risk of death. While this game isn’t as unforgiving as old-school RPGs, it does demand players to be mindful of their actions and decisions.
